To win a hand you need to play a card higher than your opponents and of the same suit. The highest card being the ACE. The winner of the last hand plays first and the loser must play a card of the same suit if possible. Cards of the trump suit win over other suits. Some cards are public and can be seen by everyone, others are hidden and can only be seen by the player, still others are hidden and are made public when you play the public cards covering them. The more hands you win, the more points you get.
